Cave of desires and cave of greater whole

This topic would discuss the cave of desires … The desires are root cause of anything that is ever done and thus this cave can also be termed as the cave of root cause or Karak Guha … This topic shall also discuss the cave which envelopes all caves of the womb of ether of heart (Hridayakasha Garbha), which as such is of a diamond white color and it denotes macro-equanimity, which means equanimity towards allness and her each part and which in Sanskrit language can also be termed as Sarva Samta … Unless Sarva Samta is arrived at, the path of liberation never opens up and thus this cave of macro-equanimity is a very important one as far as this entire topic of Hridayakasha Garbha Tantra (or systems and processes of cave of womb of heart) is concerned … Unless macro-equanimity is attained by an aspirant, the path of final liberation, which in Sanskrit lore is called as Kaivalya Moksha, never opens up and due to this reason, the cave of macro-equanimity can also be termed as cave of path of liberation (or Muktimarg Guha) … Unless the Muktimarg Guha (or cave of liberation) is entered into by an aspirants consciousness, Brahmpath, which as such is the path to Brahman and which is also the last path that any soul walks, is also not opened up … Thus, the cave of macro-equanimity can also be termed as the cave of liberation path (or the cave of entering into Muktimarg) … And since this diamond white colored cave of liberation (or cave of macro-equanimity) is enveloping all other caves which are inside the aspirants ‘cave of ether of heart (Hridayakasha) and a similar diamond white state (or cave) is also present within the macrocosmic creation and which also envelopes the entire begun macrocosm (i.e. cyclic existence or Samsara or simply the macrocosmic matrix) and since it is to this diamond white state that the entire begun macrocosm and its each microcosm is proceeding to and since in macro-equanimity, everything that enters it rests in sameness to the diamond white color of this state, so this cave of macro-equanimity can also be termed as the cave of greater whole towards which everything is proceeding ever since the commencement stage of the Maker’s Makings …  Thus cave of neutrality is a  very important cave of heart …

This topic continues from the previous one which had the header of “Cave of Inertia and cave of elements” … This is the twenty first part of this series of restricted topics on Hridayakasha Garbha Tantra …

The cave of desires … Cave of root cause … Karak Guha …

The eternal guide said … “(As shown in above figure), This cave is next to the cave of consciousness (Chitta Guha) and as any aspirant desires something, then appropriate impressions which are there within the consciousness as effects of earlier causes that were undergone by that aspirant, and are awaiting their further fruiting, get lifted by these desires and then these impressions are passed through the cave of Prana and thence only are finally arrived at the cave of mind (Manas Guha) … These impressions which have arrived at the cave of mind are then as a subtle vibratory field (which also has its specific energy field) and this field then enters the appropriate orb of senses where the same desire also manifests itself … The desire is subtler than this vibratory field of the impression which get attached to it (desire) and thus the vibratory field of desires pervade the vibratory fields of impression, and this is even when these vibratory fields of impressions are residing within the orb of mind … The organ of senses and organ of deeds get into the act of getting rid of this energy field which as such is foreign to the orb of mind and this as such is visible within deeds that a aspirant undergoes during its lifetime … Thus, even the deeds are done only to get rid of that foreign impressional vibration (and also the vibration of that subtler desire) from the orb of mind and which itself is to keep the orb of mind within a state of purity, which as such is the state of freedom from these impressional energy fields and their corresponding desires, yet the mind definitely gets affected by thee desires and impressional fields that get implanted unto it” …

The little student nodded in understanding …

Thoughtless and desireless state … Impressionless state of consciousness …

The eternal guide continued … “To get rid of this subtler vibratory or energy field the mind has just two options …

  • One option is to let these subtle energy fields which are then residing within the orbs of knowledge senses (or Gyanendriya, which are also present within the orb of mind) to enter the orbs of deeds (of Karmendriya, which are also present within the orb of mind) and where the deeds are done to only turn these impressional vibrations into a further subtler state … This fruiting of impressional fields eventually are resting and related to orb of consciousness (Chitta) of the causal body (Antahkarana Chatushtaya) also leads to manifestation of subtlety within the orb of consciousness (Chitta) of the causal body (Anandamaya Kosha) and thus is also a path which would eventually lead to a state which is closer to its original subtlety, just as was prior to the stage when the consciousness had adopted these impressions during the process of origination of makings of maker” …

Then the eternal guide continued further and told … “Thus, even when the process of fruiting of impressions (within deeds) takes place from the orb of mind of the bliss sheath (Anandamaya Kosha), yet the proof of fruiting of impressions is only seen within the arrived subtlety of the orb of consciousness of the bliss sheath (Anandmaye Kosha) …

  • The second option available to the orb of mind (and only if the mind is resting within a very subtle state and is also trained well to undergo through this second option) is to detach to these impressional fields and thus send these un-fruited energy fields back to the orb of consciousness … If this is repeatedly done by a aspirant, then the desires and the impressions (which are pervaded by these desires) are permanently unseeded due to an inertial state which always develops in them if these are not allowed to fruit any further … And this is what is stated as the soil of consciousness becoming unfit to fruit impressions (Samskara) any further and thus prevent these seeded impressional vibrations to develop into trees that render fruits at future times” …

The eternal guide further told … “When the soil of consciousness orb of an aspirants bliss sheath (Karan Sharira) becomes unfit to fruit any impressions, then due to the inertia which develops in the impression, these impressions can no longer survive and thus they automatically begin reaching a stage, where they become impotent to fruit any further and thus they (impressions) can also be deemed to be already unseeded even when they may be present within the consciousness orb of causal body (Antahkarana) … In such a case, when a state is arrived that the un-fruited impression cannot continue any further due to the lack of flows within it, then that impression completely loses its vitality and so do the desires which relate to that impression” …

The eternal guide further told … “If an impression cannot fruit beyond a certain time span, then that impressions enter into a severe lack of dynamism, which ultimately makes it to enter into a permanent inertia … And this stage of permanent inertia, also means, that, the impression and its pervading desire is rendered permanently impotent to fruit any further … And any further practice of this detachment to those factors which restrict the fruiting of these impressions, shall eventually lead to a permanent unseeding of this impression and its pervading desire” …

The eternal guide continued and said … “This second option is thus a better option as path of detachment eventually leads to the stage of detachment from ‘allness and her each part’ and this stage of ‘allness of detachment’ is also the path which ultimately renders the all the impressions (that are present in the consciousness orb of causal body) permanently impotent (or unseeded) and thus unable to fruit in any future” …

Then the eternal guide told … “If large number of aspirants who reside upon this world, enter into such systems of detachment, then it would also lead to a reduction in those ‘seas of seas of impressions’ that are already built up within the consciousness plane of this world system and this would in turn lead to manifestation of much subtler ways of life of future humanity and where subtler ways of life, also mean as those ways which are resting in an unbiased ‘oneness of allness and her each part’ and whose path is of Pluralistic monism … Pluralistic monism is the ‘eternal way of life (which itself is of Sanatan Dharma), because no other way of life has ever held this in totality … Whenever this path is not adopted, as always is during degenerate ages, then due to grosser or individualistic deeds that are undergone (during the time spans of running of any degenerate age cycle) seas of seas of impressions get built up within the consciousness plane of that world system and this is what leads to an endless state of cyclic chaos and where that cyclic chaos also keeps spreading into all individualistic ways and walks of life, that are including but not limited to geographies, geopolitics, culture, society, religion, politics, and everything else … These seas of seas of impressions are already built up as of now (2011 AD, when this part of the text was written) and very soon this world would begin facing that severity as has been told here, because as of now, the critical impressional mass that is needed for manifestation of those series of chaotic states, which these seas of seas of impressions would be leading to, is just around the corner” …

The little student nodded in understanding …

The eternal guide continued further and said … “The cave of desires is also adjacent to the cave of knowledge also (see above figure) … This is as prior these desires become active, the knowledge has to pervade these desires so as to make these desires knowledgeable enough to act … Thus, the knowledge pervades the desires and when the time is ripe and right for a desire to act, then under the pervadement of this knowledge, these desires directly enter the impressions within the cave of consciousness and these desire then pervade an appropriate impressional field (which is of sameness to the subtlety or vibratory field to that desire), so as to drive these impressions to their fruiting … And thence as these desires keep pervading the impressions which correspond to the subtlety bandwidth of these desires, then these impressions also remain with no choice but to fruit further, which itself is within corresponding acts or deeds and thoughts of the aspirant … As these impressions are fruited to a higher subtlety, then the desire which pervaded it cannot even act on it any longer, as the vibratory field or subtlety of the impression also is changed to a state of higher subtlety (after fruiting, the impression also arrives at a higher subtlety) … And thus in such a case, the vibratory field of the impression is no longer in sameness to the vibratory field or subtlety of the earlier desire which led to that fruiting of the impression … When the vibratory field (or subtlety) of an impression becomes higher than the vibratory field of the desire which was acting upon that impression till now, then that desire can no longer act on that impression” …

Then the eternal guide told … “And thus, in any further future, the same impression could then be acted upon only by a subtler desire, as the earlier grosser desires cannot even act upon the  impression which itself is subtler than that grosser desire … This as such is also denoting an upwardly evolution of the aspirant … Whenever the aspirant evolves higher, then earlier grosser desires (desires which relate to individualities and individual corpuses cannot even act on that aspirant and thus the aspirant in turn gets into subtler acts or acts which are of greater oneness … In such a case, that aspirant also detaches from those lower acts which are not in line with its current evolutionary standing within the macrocosmic creation … Thus, at this state of evolution, those lower acts cannot even be done by that aspirant … And this itself is due to the fact, that the aspirant detaches from the grosser desires and thus never gets into the grosser acts and the reason for this is also rooted in the subtler impressions that are residing within its consciousness orb (Chitta) of the bliss sheath (Anandmaye Kosha) of that aspirant and which as such cannot support any of the grosser or individualistic acts … All this is a part of the macrocosmic principle of eternal evolution and which itself rests in the purviews of the macrocosmic principle of dependent origination” …

The little student nodded in understanding …

Nirvichar Samadhi and Nirbhava Samadhi …

The eternal guide continued … “In most aspirants the cave of desires is a cave which has many colors of desires which are residing within it … And in other aspirants who have impressional fields of higher subtlety (i.e. highly evolved aspirants), the impressional fields which reside within this cave of desires are mostly (and primarily) of a white (or silvery) hue … The grosser desires move like a sinusoidal wave whereas the subtler desires move within a more straighter line path (i.e. subtler desires have less variations of amplitudes within the sinusoidal curve like paths as are of subtler desires and thus lesser wanderings of mind also is there within an evolved aspirant) … And also, when within the state of non desires (which as such is denoting the stage of Nirbhava Samadhi), the path is absolutely straight and thus no disturbances are then generated within the cave of desires when the aspirant has arrived at a state of non desires as is within a Nirbhava Samadhi (i.e. absorption in a desireless state) … And this is also related to the ‘absorption in thoughtlessness’, which as such is termed as the ‘Nirvichar Samadhi’ where the aspirant stays in a state of complete of thoughts” …

Then the eternal guide said … “Those aspirants who have no more desires remaining within the cave of desires, do not even return back to the begun macrocosm and thus they are also those who have gone beyond the stage of resting in cyclic existence (cycles of existence i.e. birth and death) … Such aspirants enter into acyclic existence (i.e. they neither have any further birth nor any further death) … This is due to the straight line path of their mind waves, which itself is the result of Nirvichar Samadhi and then the further stage of Nirbhava Samadhi” …

Then the eternal guide told … “As also, if the state of nonness of desires is maintained for longer durations, then no impression is driven by that aspirant’s desires and thus this also leads to an unseeding of all impressions from within the cave of consciousness … And thus Nirvichar Samadhi and Nirbhava Samadhi is also the path to arriving at an ‘impressionless state of consciousness orb (i.e. Samsara Rahit Awastha of Chitta) of the bliss body (Anandamaya Kosha) … And the same end result is arrived at, by practice of Hridayakasha Garbha Tantra as is being told here” …

The little student nodded in understanding …

Original desire of any microcosm … Desire to ‘Be Liberated’ … Karmamukti …

The eternal guide continued … “It is also within the cave of desires that the original desire is realized … Original desire was as a desire to ‘be liberated’ … This original desire was to ‘be liberated’ and not to ‘get liberated’ and thus the liberation which is to be arrived through the original desire, is of Karmateet Mukti (liberation from all deeds and fruit) and not of Karmadheen Mukti (liberation which is still within the purviews of deed and their fruits) … As was told earlier on, Karmamukti is a freedom from the entirety of ‘Law of cause and effect’ and thus it is also denoting the stage of a final freedom from its governing macrocosmic principle, i.e. ‘principle of interdependent origination’ … The accomplishment of thoughtless absorption (Nirvichar Samadhi) and desireless absorption (Nirbhava Samadhi) has its end result in the same Karmatit Mukti (liberation from deeds and fruit) which as such was what was desired through the original desire, and which itself was as a desire to “be liberated’ … Both the Nirvichar Samadhi and Nirbhava Samadhi have already been discussed in earlier parts of this vast lecture on Hridayakasha Garbha Tantra’ …

The little student nodded in agreement as this was already told earlier …

The eternal guide continued “Karmateet Mukti, which as such is the finality of original desire, to ‘be liberated‘, is also resting within the essence of the wise words, that, ‘There is nowhere to go, nothing to do, nobody to be’ and which eventually denotes the fullness of renunciation of allness and her each part … Such an aspirant is Poorna Sanyasi (i.e. one who has inwardly renounced the entirety of allness and her each part” …

The little student nodded in understanding …

Then the eternal guide said … “Now listen carefully as this describes the state of a Poorna Sanyasi … When all that is as Maker’s Makings and her each part, is already detached, then the the aspirant’s innermost essence (Atman) is all that remains as the aspirant … And this is also such that, the innermost essence of the aspirant (i.e. the aspirant’s Atman) itself is the the innermost essence of allness (who in Vedas is addressed as Brahman) … This is the end result of Karmatit Mukti and this is what was stated through the Vedic great statement (Vedic Mahavakya) by sages who had known it through a direct cognition” …

The little student nodded in understanding …

The first desire of macrocosmic nature … Desire ‘to be’ …

The eternal guide said …“But the original desire of any microcosm which has ever begun within the supreme genius, that itself is as the Makers Makings, and which was to ‘Be liberated’, was also resting in the even larger purviews of the ‘first desire’ of mother macrocosmic nature (i.e. Mother nature or Maa Prakriti) … This first desire of mother macrocosmic nature (i.e. Mother nature or Maa Prakriti) was as a desire ‘To be’ …

The eternal guide further told … “This first desire of macrocosmic nature, which was as a desire ‘to be’, was the one which led to her eternal existence because in the finality of this desire to be, the existence of macrocosmic nature could not have been any other than ‘to eternally be’ … And since the same nature is also present inside each microcosm, so all microcosm’s are also none other than eternal entities … This eternity of each microcosm is irrespective of whether they are born in a gross world like this one or they are resting in a subtle world or even a divine world … This itself is because of the fact as told here, so listen carefully …

Birth here was because of an earlier death elsewhere (prior being born here)

Death in this plane of existence itself is the cause of a birth elsewhere

This is the endless cycle of death and birth across planes of existences

This is what leads to fulfillment of finality of first desire to be, as to eternally be

Then the eternal guide told … “Thus in reality, everything that has ever begun within the supreme genius of Makersmakings, is none other than an eternal entity … Even macrocosmic nature (Ma Prakriti) is also an eternal entity and this is why sages of Vedic lore had also termed mother nature as eternal … Eternity of anything is also in sameness as the eternity of the attributeless infinite being (Parabrahman) … Thus, in reality, as is the eternal existence of the Absolute being (Parambrahma), so is the eternal existence of all that has ever begun within the Makersmakings … And this eternity itself is rooted in the ‘first desire of mother nature’, which itself was as a desire ‘to be’ and which in its finality of state, cannot ever be any other than ‘to eternally be’ … Thus everything is eternal irrespective of cycles of birth and death (or cyclic existence) because existence also was prior to be born and would also continue after the stage of death of an entity … And this itself became the base of another macrocosmic principle, which as such is the ‘principle of eternal existence’ of allness and her each part” …

The eternal guide further told … “Thus, irrespective of whether a microcosm lives here or dies, his or her existence continues across all gross and subtle planes and worlds that ever are present within the supreme genius of Maker’s Makings … And this existence continues within deeds and thence a reaping of fruits of those deeds, until the aspirant attains Karmateet Mukti, just as was desired from within the original desire i.e. the desire to ‘be liberated’ … And since this original desire (which itself was of any microcosm) was also permeated and enveloped by the first desire of mother nature, i.e. desire ‘to be’, and which in its finality only became as the desire ‘to eternally be’, thus even after Karmatit Mukti, the existence continues, even within a non existent state as is of that microcosm who has attained to Karmatit Mukti (as was desired from the original desire, i.e. desire ‘to be’) …

The eternal guide further told … “This is because, first desire of macrocosmic nature was arrived at a time which was much-much prior the original desire of any microcosm (which has begun within the Makers Makings) was arrived and thus the frost desire permeates and envelopes the original desire and due to this reason, first desire supersedes the original desire … Thus, existence also continues within the stage that is of a final liberation (Moksha, which is also called as Kaivalya) and this is even when, after the final liberation (Kaivalya), ‘one is neither existent nor non-existent and yet remains as the eternally existent one (Brahman)” …

In an utter amazement of this lecture, the student kept looking at the divine face of the eternal guide …

Cave of the greater whole … Cave of macro-equanimity … Cave of neutrality …

The eternal guide said … “This is the cave which is silver in color and it envelopes all the other caves, except the cave of first desire … As this cave of neutrality envelopes all the other caves within its silvery white light, which denotes macro-equanimity (i.e. equanimity towards allness and her each part), so it also ensures that as the aspirant evolves, the aspirant shall eventually realize the individual-duality of all that ever is as an individual-microcosm or as a corpus of microcosm’s … When this realization arrives, then only does an aspirant arrive at an evolutionary ripeness and rightness to enter into this cave of greater whole or the cave of macro-equanimity (i.e. equanimity towards allness and her each part or Sarva Samta) … Such a microcosm qualifies to exit out of the entirety of cyclic existence and thus the microcosm also does not have to come back into cycles of birth and death’ …

The eternal guide further told … “This stage further leads to a state of existence which is neither cyclic nor acyclic and yet is both … The sages who rest here, can take birth at will and whenever needed by the macrocosmic creation (so as to do specific jobs within a world, which include laying down a path of evolution that is right for an incoming age cycle) … And beyond this is the stage of acyclic existence (i.e. free of birth and death) which as such is a stage of resting within the unbegun macrocosm (eternal macrocosm)” …

The eternal guide continued … “When within this cave of macro-equanimity, it just takes a single moment to transit this cave, as the individuality of everything is let go within the single moment of residing in this cave … Until this stage is self realized, the beyond stages of acyclic existence (which is within the unbegun macrocosm or eternal macrocosm), then emptiness (Shunyata) and then the further state of existence within Zero Infinite which itself is the Infinite Zero (i.e. Shunya Brahman) can never be self realized … Thus, this cave is a very important one as far as progress to beyond states, and then an evolution to that which lies ‘beyond the beyond’ and also a further evolution that is ‘beyond all that is beyond the beyond’, can never be arrived by any aspirant” …

The little student nodded of understanding …

The eternal guide said … “This is the cave of final union (yoga) prior the aspirant exits from cyclic existence (macrocosmic matrix) and enters acyclic existence (eternal macrocosm) … This is as, from this cave is arrived the acyclic existence (unbegun macrocosm or eternal macrocosm) where the second intermediate state of emptiness is self realized and which as such is a state that could be told as ‘emptiness of corpus’ and which itself is the final state of macrocosm, prior any aspirant enters into Shunya (emptiness) whose path is of none other than an accomplishment of Shunya Samadhi (absorption in emptiness) … This as such completes our discussion of this part of the text and now we shall proceed back to the 8th mega spheres of the mind of macrocosmic nature (Prakriti) and the makers mind (Purusha), whose knowledge cannot be rendered to the inhabitants of this degenerate world” …

Then the eternal guide said … “This one (Little student) is already free of all impressions and thus the reason for getting into the path of this topic of Hridayakasha Garbha Tantra, stands fulfilled … Once the consciousness is freed of impressions (Samskara) which denote the four merits as were discussed earlier on, then that consciousness orb stays impressionless till eternity … And then only does any aspirant qualify to enter into the last path (Brahmpath) … This is where this one (little student) would not proceed … The end result of the last path is the same as what was told in the Mahavakya (which means a Great statement or a mega statement) of Yajurveda … ‘Aham Brahmasmi’ … And which literally means as ‘I Am Brahman’ and which could also be told as ‘I Am That’ … This is the next stage which would be accomplished by This one (little student) … Soon after entering into the last path (Brahmanpath) that is to follow from now on” …

The little student who still was amazed at this lecture, with folded hands and head bowed down in reverence … Said …

गुरुर्ब्रह्मा गुरुर्विष्णु गुरु देवो महेश्वर:
