OM and Patanjali Yoga Sutras

Patanjali Yoga Sutras eventually lead to an inner realization of Akar, Viraat, Vishva, Agni, Okar, Hiranyagarbha, Tejas, Vayu, Makar, Ishvara, Prajna , Aditya, Chetan Tattva & OM …

All above and more aspects (as discussed in this topic) are eternally present inside each aspirants physical microcosm (physical body) itself and where this presence is in a subtle impressional state (Sookshma Samskarik Awastha) … And this is what would be discussed here …

Patanjali Yoga Sutras
Patanjali Yoga Sutras … Patanjali Yoga

My father had kept collecting Vedic and Yogic texts most of his life and thus my home has already turned into a mini library … And as of now the books which are present there are from across knowledge systems (Religions) and not just of a single one …

So I have never ever had a problem to find the references in authentic texts so as to finally verify whatever was self realized, then analyzed and then was already written down or I was in the process of writing it …

And most of the times after it already was self realized, then analyzed and then written down, I have always verified those aspects from authentic texts, all of which were found in the same mini library of my home, courtesy the efforts of my father …

But there have also been those times when I just knew whatever was self realized and this itself was due to that fact that those aspects were already passed through during my earlier transmigrated incarnations, so above and below discussions are not applicable to such aspects …

There have also been those times when I wrote something and then went out to the living room or other rooms and found that my father had already put a marker on a text which he was reading at that time … And when I used to open that marked page, I have always been surprised to find that it was just was I had written a while ago … This has already happened many a times till now …

Thus one day while I was writing this chapter and had already drawn above figure, I found the text Patanjali Yoga Pradeep which my father was reading prior to this time and on one of the page he had also inserted a marker …

So out of curiosity I just opened up the marked page of that text (of Patanjali Yoga Pradeep) and was surprised to find that the marked page had the same flow chart which I had drawn a short while ago (this is the above shown flow chart) …

That text of Patanjali Yoga Pradeep is published by Gita Press Gorakhpur and thus interested aspirants can make some effort and get it from there …

Proceeding further …

We shall now discuss each of these one by one, so to arrive at a conclusion that after transiting through the stages which are listed in Patanjali Yoga Sutras, the same figure of Akar, Okar (Ukar), Makar, Brahma Tattva and Omkar is self realized by the aspirant …

And thus conclude that Yogic lore also leads to the same end result as is of the Vedic lore because these two are none other than being different paths to the same reality i.e. Brahman (or OM) …

AA … Patanjali Yoga Sutras …1st (outermost) layer as shown above

AA-1 … AKAR … This has already been discussed in an earlier topic of “Akar … Sound of A” …

This as such denotes the sound of “Aaaaaaaa… endlessly” that is heard by the subtler vehicle (Jivatman) of the aspirant after the subtler vehicle is stationed at the sphere of supreme mother of sound, syllables, languages, form and light … This also denotes form (Akar) … Since this has already been discussed earlier, so we would go to the next part of this topic …

AA-2 … VIRAAT … Viraat means very large or beyond dimensions of distance (space) and it even means a non dimensional state of unfathomable expanses … And this also means of unlimited evolutionary standing (i.e. the finality of evolutionary standing) which itself is denoting the state of the supreme mother of sound, syllables, languages, light and form …

As was discussed in the earlier topic of “Akar … Sound of A”, from the clothes of the supreme mother (Akar) following lights are emanating …

01 … Lights of orangish red color … These lights are denoting her union to the light of ALA Naad (we have already discussed this earlier) whose dimensional expanses are nothing short of being Viraat i.e. of very large dimensional expanses …

02 … Lights of deep blue color … These lights are of Ahum Naad (to know about Ahum Naad, please also see earlier topic on Path of Ahum Naad) whose dimensional expanses are nothing short of being Viraat i.e. of very large dimensional expanses …

03 … Lights of golden color … This golden light is of Hiranyagarbha … This relates to the Viraat Purusha who self manifests as Hiranyagarbha Brahma (i.e. the golden womb of macrocosmic creation) itself … And since Hiranyagarbha itself is a self manifestation of Viraat Purusha, so Hiranyagarbha is also no other than Viraat … The supreme mother of form (i.e. Akar, whom we had also addressed as the “Sound of A“) is naught but the divinity of Viraat itself and thus Patanjali Yoga Sutras have used this term along with Akar itself …

04 … Lights of diamond white color … These lights relate to Sadyojata face of Sadashiva from whom the four headed grandfather of allness (i.e. Chatur-Mukha Pitamah Brahma Ji) self originates … Thus the supreme mother (i.e. Akar) also holds the light of Pitamah Brahma Ji … This diamond white light also represents and subtly denotes the state of macro-neutrality (i.e. neutrality towards allness and her each part) or macro-equanimity (i.e. equanimity towards allness and her each part) and thus this light itself denotes Sarva Samta … Thus all knowledge systems which have these concepts (of neutrality, equanimity and Samta) are also related to the same supreme mother (Akar) itself …

05 … As such within Vedic texts, one of the names of “The Absolute Being” is “Viraat” … This term of Viraat “also” refers to all that is in attributed-formless state (i.e. Sagun Nirakaar Awastha) and this category (of attributed-formless) also includes the non-lighted state of macrocosmic voidness (which itself is the primordial nature, which is termed as  emptiness or Shunya Tattva or emptiness of allness or Sarva Shunya) … And since emptiness (or Shunya Tattva) itself was the primordial state of macrocosmic nature, so all evolutionary paths always pass through this state of macrocosmic voidness prior the self realization of the reality (i.e. attributeless infinite being) actually arrives for an aspirant … As also, all manifest states of macrocosmic nature are only leading to this realization because of the fact that all manifest states are only resting within this state of Primordial non lightness itself …

This state of non-lightness is what was addressed as “Krishna (now-a-days, they say Krishna”, which literally means “an intrinsic non-lightness” … Krishna (or Krishn) is denoting the state of Shunya Brahman, which we had discussed in earlier topic of “As IT self expressed itself” to be the unioned condition of Zero-Infinite, Infinite Zero and we had told that this is the original self expression of the attributeless infinite being (Nirgun Nirakaar Brahm or Brahman) …

But this term, “non-lightness” does not mean “darkness” as the non-lighted macrocosmic state also has its own intrinsic light (knowledge and consciousness) +++ within it …

+++ Explaining +++ of above paragraph … There are only two states of the macrocosmic creation … One is Shukla, which means lightness or light and other one is Krishn or non-lightness and both are essentially free of darkness (or ignorance) because both these states have their own intrinsic knowledge and consciousness …

+++ And due to this reason, even the emptiness, which as such is deemed to be a dark state (like Night) is really not a dark state as it also holds the same knowledge and conscious principles due to the presence of the same attributeless-infinite being (Nirgun Nirakaar Brahm) within it …

+++ This is because of the fact that Brahman pervades and envelopes allness and since allness also includes primordial non-lightness (i.e. Shunya) so Brahman is also the pervader and enveloper of the primordial non lightness and due to this reason, it is also found (through self realization of it) that Brahman is also present within and beyond non lightness of macrocosmic voidness (i.e. Shunya Tattva) …

+++ And since the pervader and enveloper of macrocosmic voidness i.e. Brahman, itself is the “supreme knowledge and consciousness (i.e. Prajna)” who is also addressed as Swaprajna (self knowledge and self conscious one) and Swa Prakash (self luminous) and since Brahman itself is the pervader of macrocosmic voidness, so within macrocosmic voidness, the same Brahman (Prajna) is also seen to present and it is due to this reason, even non-lighted state of macrocosmic voidness (Shunya Tattva) is found to be holding its own lightness or Prajna (i.e. knowledge and conscious principles) which itself is due to the presence of the self luminous Brahman within it …

Thus in the real sense (i.e. when we consider the presence of pervader (i.e. Parabrahman or Brahman), within the non-lighted state of emptiness, even the term emptiness does not even mean empty …

And it is due to this reason, that many Buddhist texts also state that “emptiness is also a state of fullness” …

And it is also due to the same reason, that Annapurna Upanishad also states that the “Nihil of Nihilists itself is the Full of Fullists” …

And when we see the emptiness in its reality as is stated above, then is also is of very vast dimensional expanses and thus it is also symbolic of and is an intrinsic part of the completeness which the term “Viraat” of our current discussion eventually denotes …

And it is also due to the same reason that Siddha sciences hold the self realization of emptiness in a very high stature … And the same goes for Buddhist systems also, because Buddhism itself is denoting a union of three of the six parts (or paths) of Sanatan Vedic Arya Dharma and these three parts (or paths) are of Siddha, Samkhya and Darshana … Thus when these three are arrived within their union to each other, then it is Buddhism …

Proceeding further to discuss the related aspects of Viraat …

When we see the final pervader and enveloper of emptiness, who as such is the same attributeless infinite Absolute being (I.e. Brahman) then emptiness cannot even be told to be a state which is empty …

Thus in reality, the word “emptiness (or Shunya Tattva or Shunyata)” is a misnomer …

And this word was only used because it denotes the empty state of macrocosmic creation as was prior the macrocosmic creation had even originated within the Maker’s Makings

Thus what is stated as emptiness, only denotes the primordial state of nature (Adi Prakriti) which was at the time of Mahapralaya (or the great dissolution) and which itself was prior the current state of macrocosmic creation was originated from within that state of Mahapralaya (i.e. the great dissolution) …

And that state of Mahapralaya itself was the original self expression of the Absolute being which was discussed in an earlier topic of “As IT self expressed itself” and was told as the state of “Zero-Infinite, Infinite-Zero (or Shunya Brahman)” …

When this “non-lighted energy field” of emptiness is realized, then it is also found that the quantum of energy that emptiness holds, is much-much more than that of the entire macrocosmic creation (i.e. entire multi-universal system) and at such a stage it is also self realized that the entire corpus of the multi-universal system (i.e. the macrocosm) is just an iota of what the voidness of allness holds within it as its own “non-lighted energy fields … This fact shall be discussed in a later topic …

At this stage of self realization it is an undeniable fact that within the core of the eternal non-lightness (Krishna Paksha or Awastha, call it what you want) resides the eternal lightness (Shukla Paksha or Awastha, call it what you want) … And simultaneously, within the core of the eternal lightness, resides the eternal non-lightness … Thus lightness and non lightness are like equal opposite twins, both of who also are only leading to each other …

And thus if these two (i.e. lightness and non lightness) are utilized as a base of self realizations, then the process of self realization would only become endless as the aspirant would keep moving from lightness to non-lightness and then from non-lightness to lightness in an endless, continuous and infinite loop …

And this endlessness of the process of self realization can only end when the self luminous absolute being (Parabrahman) is self realized …

Thus unless the self luminous being is self realized, each aspirant keeps moving from lightness to non lightness and then non lightness to lightness in an endless loop … And thus until the self luminous being is self realized by an aspirant, this endless loop cannot even be escaped from irrespective of who may be believed in or which path may be adopted by an aspirant …

But the fact still remains, that to break this endless loop, the Viraat of our discussion would need to be self realized by that aspirant …

And all this also leads to a self realization that everything is nothing but a proof of the divinity of the same supreme being (Brahman) within its own very huge form … This is what was stated as Viraat within the Vedic and Yogic Lore’s, including our current discussion on Patanjali Yoga Sutras …

AA-3 … VISHVA … The word Vishva means macrocosmic … In many earlier topics, we had discussed that the entire macrocosm is naught but a self expressed, self manifested self presence of the same attributeless infinite absolute being

Thus the macrocosmic state of the Maker itself is the Maker’s Makings … Thus Maker’s Makings itself are the Vishvaroop Brahma

The Vishvaroop itself is Vishva of our current discussion and this entire Vishva rests within the supreme mother (Akar) of our discussion …

And we had also discussed that the entire macrocosmic creation is self originated out of the pure white colored Sattva Guna or the pure white color of macrocosmic attribute of purity (or neutrality) of wisdom …

And also we have discussed that the clothes of the supreme mother are emanating the lights of diamond white color (or lights of pure white color, which as such denote the super-purified state of Sattvaguna or the attribute of purity or neutrality of wisdom) …

As also, each light that emanates out of the supreme mother of sound, form and light, is also having this diamond white light within it because the diamond white light is also pervading each of the lights that are emanating out of the supreme mother or Akar … By this I mean that the diamond white light is within each of the other colors that emanate out of the supreme other of sound, light and form …

By experiences of macrocosmic subtleties it is also found that the same diamond white light is also present within all other subtler and grosser states of the macrocosmic creation, because everything originates from the white colored vast cloud like state of Sattva Guna (quality of neutrality or purity of wisdom) only i.e. the 9th sphere of macrocosmic creation and thus white pervades ever other color … This diamond white light thus pervades allness and its each part …

And it is only from this pure white color that everything that is resting within the macrocosm, has originated … This is because the macrocosmic state of Sattva Guna is none other than the ninth sphere (or Para Prakriti or Adi Shakti or beyond nature or cloud nine) which as such is the originator of other eight spheres (or Apra Prakriti) and that too, from within itself …

And thus this Vishva, which means macrocosmic eventually refers to the original state of macrocosmic creation, which itself is the 9th sphere of macrocosmic creation and which itself is the macrocosmic state of Sattva Guna or quality of purity or neutrality of wisdom …

From the white colored Sattva Guna were self originated the macrocosmic quality (or attribute) of action (or Rajoguna) and macrocosmic quality (or attribute) of Inertia (or Tamoguna) which as such are the three primary attributes and thus are the three primary bases of all that is originated within the Maker’s Makings

These three attributes itself denote the root cause (or root base) of origin, existence and ending of allness within its eternally cyclic state and thus are the primary macrocosmic states of the Maker’s Makings

Each of these three lights are emanating out of the supreme mother (see the painting of Akar as was given in an earlier topic of “After stationed at Akar”) …

And since the entire macrocosmic creation is dependent (based) upon these three primary attributes, so these three primary attributes eventually denote the Vishva (or macrocosm) of this discussion …

The when stationed at Akar (supreme mother) there also happens an auto-union to these attributes and it is at this stage, that the aspirant unions to the entire macrocosmic creation (I.e. the aspirant enters into a self realization and thence a union to Vishva itself) … And this itself is the reason for Akar (i.e. the supreme mother) to be symbolic of Vishva of our current discussion …

As such, all these denote the term Vishva and this itself is due to the fact that the Maker itself is none other than its Makings because the Makings itself are none other than a self expressed, self manifested self presence of the same Maker who itself is its own Makings …

Even the name of this text i.e. Maker’s Makings, is only referring to same Vishva (or Vishvaroop Brahma) only …

And it was from this fact that the name of this text was chosen as the Maker’s Makings (or Vishvaroop Brahma or Vishva) because this name relates to my real mother (i.e. Akar or supreme mother of light, form, sound, syllables and languages) itself as she was the one who had brought me into this world by bearing me within her divine womb, prior to the process of transmigration was completed within this world …

AA-4 … AGNI … Agni means Fire … We have already discussed that the subtler observing vehicle which is travelling through the sphere of the supreme mother of sound, form and light, is of subtle golden color and at this stage that subtler vehicle is also having a reddish light in its right side channel (Pingala Naadi) and this light is the basic of propulsion of the subtler observing vehicle at this stage … And this light was termed as that of macro-elemental fire (I.e. Agni of our current discussion) …

And since Agni (macro-elemental fire) itself is holding the subtle-macro-element (or Tanmatra) of form (Roop) so the attributed-form state (i.e. Sagun Sakaar Awastha) of golden mother itself denotes this fact of presence of Agni and it is due to this reason, that when travelling to her sphere, even the subtler travelling vehicle holds the same Agni (fire) in its right hand channel (i.e. Pingala Naadi) …

The same Agni has one aspect of Tejas and Tejas itself is the Brahm-Agni (or the Macrocosmic fire element) … And due to this reason, Tejas Agni are synonymous terms and yet the stage of our current discussion (i.e. when travelling to and after getting stationed at Akar) the Tejas which means heat-luminosity is not yet manifested within the subtler vehicles right hand channel (this gets manifested at the next stage of Okar or Ukar)  …

And thus the macro-elemental fire (Agni or Agni Mahabhoot) that is referred to within this discussion, is also termed as a path to the Absolute (Brahm) …

As such within Vedas, there are very clear statements like, “Agni Brahma or Macrocosmic elemental-fire is Supreme being (or Agni is a self manifested state of Parambrahma)” and this itself is because of sages who had meditated upon Agni (Fire macro-element was used as a base of self realizations) had also ended up realizing allness, its each part and its pervader / enveloper (i.e. Brahman) …

Within the Vedic knowledge systems, because prior the Makings were effected, only the Maker existed … So the Makings only originated from the Maker itself, who as such was all there was at that time … This is because of the fact, that at this stage that was prior to the origination of anything, there was nothing else available to originate anything and due to this reason, the macrocosmic creation which itself originated out of the same Maker and that too in such a state that the Maker’s Makings, were none other than the Maker’s own self manifested macrocosmic and microcosmic state … At this time as was prior to the time when anything originated, the attributeless infinite being (Brahman) and its truth-conscious-blissful knowledge principle, was all that was existent …

Reiterating again … Since there was nothing available at this stage which was prior to origination of the Maker’s Makings, so it was from within the Maker that the Makings were originated … And because the Maker was all that was existent, so the Makings itself are none other than the self expressed self manifested self presence of the same Maker … Thus ultimately it was the Maker only who got ITself self manifested within its own macrocosmic and microcosmic form or formless states, which we know as the Maker’s Makings  …

Thus, within the Vedic knowledge systems that were rendered by fully-realized, self-realized sages (Rishi), the “macrocosm and its each microcosm” is none other than the macrocosmic and microcosmic state of the same Maker …

And it is also due to this reason, that each microcosm holds this Agni within itself just as the pristine divinity (i.e. supreme mother) of the Maker (i.e. Karya Brahma manifestation of Hiranyagarbha Brahma) also does … Thus this state of Agni can never be missed out by ant aspirant especially because of the severe fire that would manifest in the right hand channel (Pingala Naadi) of the aspirant, would always come to fore when proceeding to and after getting stationed at Akar of our current discussion …

Thus in reality, Agni is not a Demi-God as is told by some … Agni Deva in fact is representing the supreme divinity itself … And it was due to this reason all those later knowledge systems who adopted some of the Vedic concepts have always had fire as a medium of worship or as a mode of worship or even as the an object of worship and all this is because fire itself is that which is related to the divinity of our current discussion …

BB- … OM … 2nd layer as shown in above figure and flow chart …

BB-1 … OKAR (Ukar) … This refers to the “endless sound of Oooooand just as it is at the sphere of Hiranyagarbha Brahma (or golden womb, who in Vedas is also addressed as the golden egg, in addition to being addressed as Karya Brahma or doer maker) which as such is the state from where whatever is effected as the macrocosm, is finally effected …

As also, the Hiranyagarbha is the primary doer of macrocosmic creation … The term used in ancient texts is ‘Ukar’ in addition to the term of ‘Okar”, that is  written here …

Ukar means one that “uplifts (or raises) the evolutionary standing of an aspirant … Ukar is the sound which relates to the upwardly lifting of the subtler travelling vehicle to further states (i.e. to Makar, Brahmatattva or Shuddha Chetan Tattva and then to OM) …

This upward lifting force is the characteristic of this sphere of Hiranyagarbha

And since these aspects have already been discussed in earlier topic of Okar (or Sound of O), so there is no need to repeat the same here …

BB-2 … HIRANYAGARBHA … Golden womb or golden egg of macrocosmic creation … This is the Hiranyagarbha Brahma …

In earlier topic of Okar, we have already discussed this in many details … Hence we shall proceed to other discussions that need to be done within this topic …

BB-3 … TEJAS … This means the heat-luminosity and this itself is the real energy field of the right hand channel (i.e. Pingala Naadi) …

When proceeding to and thence getting stationed at the sphere of Hiranyagarbha (i.e. sound of Okar), the color of Tejas (i.e. orangish red or saffron) is present in the right hand channel (i.e. Pingala Naadi or Surya Naadi) …

Thus this denotes oneness of the aspirant (i.e. subtler vehicle) to Hiranyagarbha itself …

This color (orange-red or Saffron) is the same as the light which envelopes Hiranyagarbha Brahma and thus Tejas (orange-red or Saffron color) is denoting Hiranyagarbha Brahma itself … Due to this reason, the Vedic lore also has statements like “Tejas Brahma or Tejas is the Maker and this statement also means, that the Tejas also is the Path of and to the Maker” …

And because manifestation of Tejas also propels the subtler observing vehicle to Hiranyagarbha and also to further stages of self realization, so Tejas is also given a very high place in the Yogic and Vedic lore’s …

The Tejas is an energy field which is a very potent cleanser, very potent heat and a very effective energy field which just lifts the subtler observing vehicle and makes its realize the beyond states …

And if this orange-red Tejas is united to by the yellow colored energy field of the left channel (or moon channel or  Ida Naadi), then it also leads the supreme knowledge i.e. knowledge of the Maker and its Makings …

But eventually Tejas is an energy field of Hiranyagarbha (Okar or Ukar) itself and it was due to this reason, that Tejas was stated with Okar within the Patanjali Yoga Sutras …

BB-4 … VAYU … Vital airs or vital winds … or Prana … This refers to the state we had already discussed earlier, that as soon as the blessings of the supreme mother of sound, form and light (i.e. Akar) are received, then the subtler vehicle travels further to the sphere of Hiranyagarbha (i.e. Okar) …

And when the blessings of Hiranyagarbha Brahma (i.e. Okar) are also received, then the subtler vehicle gets automatically propelled to the further state which as such is of the three pristine jewels (i.e. Makar) …

This automatic travel is only due to the effects of Tejas and Prana (or Prana Vayu or the five vital airs and five sub vital airs) which start uniting to each other within the subtler vehicle itself (and this also leads to their union within the physical vehicle of the aspirant) …

At this stage as the base of spine and in between the two excretory organs, is seen a very subtle yellow colored light … And the skin of the physical vehicle also starts to become pale (As if suffering from jaundice) …

Then these winds begin enter the spine and thence from the spine they begin entering into vast number of subtler nerves and eventually reach each part of the body …

This stage leads to an internal shivering of body parts (as is a vibrator is running within these body parts) …

These wind (Vital Airs) are the driver and all that these drives (which get injected into the aspirants physical and subtler vehicles) do is to prepare the nerves of the body, to undergo through the later stage when the consciousness would get lifted up to that which is “beyond all that is termed as beyond” …

As these body parts start shivering (This shivering is mostly internal), the mind is simultaneously calmed down automatically and thus this shivering really does not cause much suffering to the aspirant …

All this happens only after the vital winds (Prana’s) merge with Tejas (heat-luminosity) both of which are of Okar (or Ukar) and thus are of Hiranyagarbha Brahma … And then these vital winds (vital airs or Prana’s) begin assisting to transport the subtler vehicle automatically to the sphere of the three pristine jewels …

And because these changes of Prana Vayu and then the Prana Vayu becoming activated, happens at Okar, so it was stated along with Okar of our current discussion itself …

And since Prana (or winds) itself are of Brahma so within the Vedic texts we also find references of this fact within statements like Prana Brahma or Vital winds are of the Absolute (or vital airs are also a path to the Absolute) …

CC … OM … 3rd Layer as shown in above figure and flow chart …

CC-1 … MAKAR … This refers to the endless sound of “MMMMMM” …

As we have already discussed that this sound is existing at the sphere of the three pristine jewels, which denote the divine Trinity (i.e. Trideva) and it also denotes their own divinity (i.e. Tridevi) …

As also we have stated earlier than this sound is also the primordial original sound of the macrocosmic creation (or Brahmanaad) … And thus, this state also denotes the originality of macrocosmic creation, where the creator, preserver and rejuvenator principles of the macrocosmic creation, are originally and eternally present …

Thus it is from here, that creation, preservation and rejuvenation of macrocosmic creation takes place and when these three primary factors enter into the Hiranyagarbha Brahma, that golden womb becomes active and becomes as the Karya Brahma or the Doer Maker or the Maker who creates the macrocosmic creation out of itself and its own divinity (i.e. the supreme mother of sound, light and form, who as such is the Viraat and Vishva, which have already been discussed earlier in “Akar” of this discussion) …

As also and just as we had discussed earlier, since the sound is a characteristic of macro-elemental Ether (Akasha Mahabhoot) and thus this is a proof, that ether is existent within this sphere of the three pristine jewels … And this itself proves our earlier discussion that ether is one of the four continuous planes of Maker’s Makings and this itself is because ether is even there prior the Karya Brahma (Doer Maker) even started doing anything …

As also, when already stationed within this state, since the subtler observing vehicle is able to know it consciously and mindfully, so this also proves that the other three continuous planes of macrocosmic creation (i.e. Knowledge, Mind and Consciousness) are also present at this state of three pristine jewels (i.e. Makar) …

As also, within this state is present the Prana Shakti which propels the subtler observing vehicle to each of these three pristine jewels so as to study them … And it is also realized at this state that Prana Shakti is omnipresent within allness and is also the omnipotent force which drives all parts of allness to their ever applicable real nextness of evolution (i.e. step by stem evolutionary process is maintained by the Prana Shakti of this state itself) …

It is due to above facts that there are Vedic statements as discussed below …

  • Prana Brahma … Prana is of the Absolute … And this also means, Prana is the Absolute and it also means that the Prana is the path to the Absolute … This is a self realization that gets attained through the Vital air sheath (which in texts is also called as Pranamaye Kosha and which literally means as the Sheath of vitality of any microcosm) …
  • Jnana Brahma … Knowledge is of the Absolute … And this also means, Knowledge is the Absolute and it also means that the Knowledge is the path to the Absolute … This is a self realization that gets attained through the knowledge sheath (which in other words is also termed as the Vijyanmaye Kosha and which literally ,means as Buddhi Kosha or sheath of intellect)  …
  • Chetan Brahma … Consciousness is of the Absolute … This is a self realization that gets attained through the Bliss sheath (or in other words, the causal body or the Anandmaye Kosha, which in Vedas is also called as Antahkarana Chatushtaya) … And statement this also means, Consciousness is the Absolute being and it also means that the Consciousness (or Chitta) is the path to the Absolute …
  • Akasha Brahma … Ether is of the Absolute … And this also means, Ether is the Absolute and it also means that the Ether is the path to the Absolute …
  • Mann Brahma … Mind is of the Absolute … And this also means, Mind sheath is the Absolute (which in Sanskrit scriptures is also told as the Manomaye Kosha) … This self realization denotes the stage of attainment of self realization of the “Vedic Mahavakya (or Vedic great statement)” of Shivohum (which means as Shiva Am I and also it also means as I Am Shiva) …And it also means that the Mind is the path to the Absolute …
  • Naad Brahm … Within Various paths of Sanatan Dharma, this is also termed as Shabd Brahm … This can also be written as Shabda Brahman and it can also be termed as Nada Brahman … Sound is of the Absolute … And this also means, Sound is the Absolute and it also means that the sound is the path to the Absolute … This is why the systems of ancient knowledge transfer were from the words of a Guru to a disciples and it is also due to this reason that Vedas and Upanishads are termed as Shruti or that which is heard … And that which is heard (i.e. Shruti) is also termed as higher than everything else …

All above in turn leading to an inference, that this state is actually pretty close to the end of one’s evolutionary process i.e. exit from all modes of existence …

CC-2 … ISHVARA … Godhead … Here the term Ishvara means trinity of creator, preserver and rejuvenator … And thus in the Vedas, each of these have been termed as Ishvara only because each of these are the self manifestation of the same Supreme Being (Nirgun Nirakaar Brahm) …

CC-3 … PRAJNA … Pristine Light or the self luminous … This denotes the self realized  knowledge, consciousness and pure activity which happens after this stage …

Here the term means pristine light or pristine knowledge and consciousness …

This state is also related to the mega-statement “Prajnanam Brahma” as was discussed earlier …

CC-4 … ADITYA … Sun … This refers to the source of light … This term even refers to the light of Trinity (Sun which means the self luminous one, is also referring to the state of the Trinity itself) … This also means sun amongst all suns or the supreme sun … It also means goodness (or well being etc.) … It also means light which envelopes and nourishes  all … It also means inner light of self realization … And thus is it also written within Vedic texts, that “Sun or light is the Absolute (Surya Brahman)” …

DD … OM … Next Layer as shown in above figure and flow chart …

DD-1 … SHUDDHA CHETAN TATTVAPure-Conscious element … This refers to the pristine element of the Maker (Brahma Tattva or Brahmatattva) …

Here these terms mean the following …

  • SHUDDHA means Purer amongst the pure … And just as the pristine element of Maker (Brahmatattva) also is …
  • CHETAN means Conscious principle or the supreme consciousness … This is exactly how the pristine element of the Maker (Brahma Tattva) really is …
  • TATTVA means elemental state … This denotes the original and primordial elemental state of Maker’s Makings …

EE … OM ( ) … This is the “Pranava or the lord of macrocosmic vitality” … OM itself is Brahman (or the Absolute) … The symbol of OM is also the Brahmlingam … The statement of “OM is Brahmlingam” means that OM itself is the Lingam (or symbol) of Brahman (i.e. the Absolute) …

We have discussed earlier at in this stage of self realization, the subtler vehicle (Jivatman) which enters this state, becomes absorbed into its own cause (i.e. OM) and this we had stated as the stage where the Jivatman “vanishes from its own sight” …

This is the stage of self realization of the innermost meaning of the four Vedic Mahavakya which would be discussed later on …

And this is also the stage of self realization of the fact that “all roads lead to the same Home i.e. all paths of evolution are ultimately leading to the same Absolute (who as such is as your own Atman which itself is Brahman or OM)” …

And at this stage there is also a realization that all that has ever differed within each knowledge system, is the path, languages, procedures and rituals, as each of these only leading to the same Parabrahman (i.e. OM) …

And there is also the realization that OM is Kaivalya Moksha and this is in addition to OM being the path to Kaivalya or Moksha … Both of the Sanskrit terms of Kaivalya and Moksha means a full, permanent and final isolation from allness and her each part and thus this term only denotes a final liberation from all that ever was during the undefined eternity that has already gone by, ever is or could ever be in the unfathomable eternity that is yet to be arrived at …

And finally … And those aspirants who self had realized all that is discussed within this entire topic of “OM Naad (I.e. Akar, Ukar, Makar and Omkar)” were also the ones whom the Vedas have addressed as “Jeevanmukta (or liberated whilst still incarnated)” …

End Note:  After roaming through many states of the Maker’s Makings and thence realizing all that “ever was” to be realized, I found one aspect to be common for all macrocosmic states … And this common aspect itself is the macrocosmic language of Sanskrit …

Thus ends this topic on OM Naad or the sound of OM …
