Here we discuss the process of initial cleansing of cave of Prana or Prana Guha, so as to study the cave of Prana … This is highly restricted topic …
This topic continues from the previous one which had the header of “Apana Prana and Kurma Upa Prana” … This is the ninth part of this series of topics on Hridayakasha Garbha Tantra …
Cleansing of cave of Prana …
Then the eternal guide continued speaking … “As was told earlier, now we shall have to effect the cleansing of the vital air again, prior we proceed to the 2nd vital and sub vital airs” … So, just follow the same method as was told earlier …
The little student built up a strong will and then thought that all visible and non visible impressions, visible and non visible channels and obstructions shall be cleared of each of the lower aspects and then swept these into the cave of austerities (Yoga Agni Guha) using the same impression which was generated from the last cleansing so as to fruit it further into an ever higher subtlety and then fully detached prior the will had generated the effect …
The light within the cave of austerities grew bright red in color and lightened up the ether and the other caves which were within ether … All visible and invisible impurities that were remaining within the Cave of Prana, began entering the cave of fire of austerities … And then the fire in the cave of austerities became smaller in size, which indicated that the process of cleansing had completed (i.e. the impressions etc., were fully unseeded) … And after fully unseeded, the bright light which had manifested in the cave of fire of austerities also became normal …
And then as the cave of vital airs had began shining in a pure light, the little student looked up at the divine face of the eternal guide …
Then the eternal guide said … “Fully cleared this time … Each time we enter the 1st vital air, we have to do this procedure … But since the cleansing is already well done, hence we shall now go to the Cave of Prana again and study 2nd vital and sub vital airs” …
Re-enter cave of Prana … And study cave of Prana …
And then the little student and the eternal guide resumed their walk to the cave of Prana’s so as to study the cave of Prana …
And then the eternal guide began to walk while catching the hand of the little student … While walking the eternal guide said “as an orange tinge came for a short duration within the red hue there was earlier, this orange color is within the middle of this 1st vital air and thus its color is also referred to as orange by a few aspirants who have written about this 1st vital air, as this orange color being in the center of the 1st vital air could also be believed as the color is the 1st vital air” … And while walking the eternal guide said “look, this 1st vital air also present in the Swadishtan chakra or the sex Chakra, as the orange there is as its primary color and within this orange is the pink of the 5th vital air which is maximum in its dimensional state within the sex Chakra” …
The little student nodded in agreement …
And the eternal guide continued … “The pink color of the 5th vita air (Vyana Prana) is largest in its dimensional state (or size) but it is merged with the orange color in totality when it is within the Swadishtana chakra (or the sex Chakra) and it is due to this reason, that the 5th vital air is considered as the one which drives the Swadishtana chakra (or sex Chakra) … But this is not the truth, as all these vital airs from 1st to 5th do this job, and not just one which is believed is the primary vital air of the Swadishtana Chakra … This is because, each vital air is present everywhere in the body and Chakras … But at the same time, each part of the body and also each Chakra definitely has its own primary vital air, which for the Swadishtana Chakra, is Vyana Prana (or simply, Vyana or the 5th vital air) … Even when all vital airs are present in each chakra, yet each chakra has its primary vita air … And it is this primary vital air which Yogic texts state as the vital air of that chakra … Without these vital airs present in the systems of subtle and grosser aspects (or components) of the body, the body would never be able to function properly” …
And then the eternal guide while pointing to a large tube like structure of subtle nerves next to a yellow colored larger middle nerve said … “See the red and yellow colors are also present at the periphery of the sun channel (i.e. Pingala Naadi) and moon channel (Ida Naadi) … Yellow color is of the Prana Prana of heart area and the Red color is of Apana Prana … Thus even these two amongst the three primary channels of vitality that are present around the backbone, have these two Prana enveloping them … This also proves that Apana is one of the major Prana’s as far as running of the bodied systems is concerned” …
The little student remembered what was earlier taught about the Ida Naadi and Pingala Naadi and nodded in affirmative …
