We shall now commence our discussions on OM Naad (Sound of OM) which also relate to Vedic Beeja Mantra, Brahmlingam, Vedic Beeja Brahm and Atma Lingam …
This discussion is not exhaustive by any means as I have only listed a few of the aspects of OM and not the whole lot of them …
The knowledge of OM, its symbol and sound was even there during my much-much earlier incarnations when none of the knowledge systems which came by during the last few millennium (i.e. the so called religions or systems of today) were even dreamt of by the inhabitants of this world or their Gods …
At those very ancient times, the pluralistic yet monist Vedic ways of life were all that were and OM of our current discussion was the root knowledge of those long gone and past times … The knowledge of the sound and symbol of OM, originally was rendered by the Vedic sages only because in those days Vedas itself were the way of life of humanity of this world (as no other system was existent in those days) …
Thus basis above, all later knowledge systems have taken this knowledge and symbol of sound of OM from Vedic sages only and thus all such knowledge systems which have utilized the symbol and sound of OM, are eventually rooted in the Vedas only … And this statement is irrespective of what anybody may believe about what is told here …
All words like those of Omkar, Onkar, Omkara etc., are also related to the same knowledge of OM which originally was provided by the much-much earlier Vedic sages … So all knowledge systems which use such terms are also related to the same great grandmother of all philosophies i.e. Sanatan Vedic Arya Dharma (or simply the Sanatan Dharma) …
Even the knowledge of non-duality was originally stated as that of OM only and thus all those who claim such terms which relate this original Vedic knowledge of OM, are also related to the same knowledge that originally was rendered to humanity by the much-much earlier Vedic sages …
Since those timeless times which as such are beyond calculations of present day humanity, their angels and their Gods, the self-realized, all-realized Vedic sages have ever stated that OM is the ultimate path for reaching the non-dual Brahman and this itself is because of the fact that OM by itself is none other than Brahman (innermost essence of all that ever is) and that Brahman itself is the Atman (i.e. innermost essence) of each aspirant, of now or of any of the triple times …
Thus as far as the root or base or foundation of the knowledge of OM is concerned, it originally and primarily is a Vedic symbol and sound … The knowledge of sound and symbol of OM has been there since those timeless times when the recent or earlier systems (i.e. systems that came by during the last few millenniums) were not even dreamt of within this or any other world system … This is because this knowledge is the original and primordial knowledge of the Maker’s Makings …
Three parts of OM Naad (Sound of OM) …
OM is composed of three distinct seed-sounds (or seed syllables) and these are …
- A … Akar … The sound of syllable A of Sanskrit language …
- O … Ukar … Or Okar … The sound of syllable O of Sanskrit language …
- M … Makar … The sound of syllable M of Sanskrit language …
- Together these three syllables are told as the sound AOM (A-O-M)or simply the sound of OM …
Clarifying an important aspect prior proceeding further …
- Sound of O is a sound which relates to Hiranyagarbha Brahma (i.e. the golden womb of creation) and it is upward moving sound … Due to this reason, it was told as sound of Ukar by the self-realized, all-realized Vedic sages … And due to this reason, some learned ones have even told this sound as the sound of syllable U of Sanskrit language … Thus such ones even say that OM is to be recited as AUM (A-U-M) …
- But based upon the characteristic of Ukar, even when the explanation of above bullet point is correct, yet when we hear the sound of OM, the stated Ukar is heard as a sound of O only … Thus in this text, Ukar is also stated as Okar …
- And at the same time, the sounds of U and O of Sanskrit language are found to be totally mixed up to each other when the aspirant stations himself (or herself) at the sphere of Ukar or Hiranyagarbha, who also is inside the top part of brain of each aspirant … Thus I do not disagree to those who recite OM as A-U-M …
- And since knowledge of sound and symbol of OM itself is the seed of Vedas, so within the coming sub-parts of this topic (on OM Naad) we shall be discussing these three original and primary seed syllables of Akar, Ukar or Okar and Makar and that too with paintings of these states …
- Never in human history of this entire divine age cycle (which in Sanskrit language is also termed as a Mahayuga in addition to being called as a Deva Yuga and which is of 4.32 million human solar years as per middle time units of precession of equinoxes) have these paintings been given by anyone … But there is always a first time in each Mahayuga Chakra (which in Vedic lore is also termed as a Chatur Yuga) …
What does OM denote … Beeja Mantra, Brahmlingam, Beeja Brahm, Atma Lingam
OM denotes is the following …
- Beeja Mantra (or seed syllable) of Vedas …
- Shabda Lingam … Naad Lingam … Symbol of the sound or word …
- Veda Beeja … The seed of Vedas …
- Brahman … Who in other words is also addressed as Parambrahma … And also as Paramatman … The Absolute being …
- Atman … Ones own innermost essence …
- Beeja Brahm … The seeded state of Brahm which is within and beyond the macrocosmic creation and also her each part …
- Beejatman … The seeded state of one’s own innermost essence (Atman) …
- Brahm Shakti … The pristine divinity of Brahman …
- Atma Shakti … Pristine divinity of one’s own innermost essence (Atman) …
- Atma Tattva … Pristine elemental or essential nature of Atman …
- Brahma Tattva … The pristine element of Maker’s Makings or pristine original elemental state of allness or essential self-expressed state of the essence of allness (i.e. Parabrahman or simply, Brahman) …
- Atma Lingam … The symbol of one’s own innermost essence (or Atman) …
- Brahmlingam … The symbol of the final essence of allness (or the symbol of Brahman) …
- Maa Brahmini (This term is no more used by Vedic humanity) … The pristine divinity of Brahman … The eternal infinite omnipotent supreme mother of allness (who is also addressed as Maa Adi Parashakti) …
- Mahamantra … The Great Mantra … This also means Supreme Mantra, because in Vedas there can only be one Great (i.e. Maha) and thus the Maha (or Great) of Vedas, only means Supreme (Param) …
- OM (or ॐ) itself is the Pristine Truth +++ in addition to being the pristine element of the Maker and that too whilst it is eternally present within its Makings itself … This is in addition to what was discussed earlier that OM itself is the Brahmatattva (or the pristine element) …
+++ Explaining +++ of above paragraph … Within chapter 17 of Srimadbhagvad Gita, Sri Bhagwan Krishna had stated above fact through a Mahavakya (which in English means as a mega-statement) of “OM TAT SAT”, which means “OM, Thou Art Truth (i.e. OM, Thou Art Brahman)” …
The Mantras which relate to above mega-statement are also denoting the same pristine element (i.e. Brahmatattva) itself …
And at the same time, the pristine element (i.e. Brahma Tattva) by itself is the formless Brahmlingam (i.e. the symbol of Brahman) …
But different knowledge systems that came by during and just prior the commencement of the currently running divine degenerate age cycle had stated the same fact, but through different statements and this was even when all of them were relating to the same knowledge of OM which originally was rendered by Vedic Sages only … Beyond all doubts, once and for all this topic of OM Naad (or sound of OM) would be proving this fact …
The discussion continues …
