The beginning of some topics of this text shall have a note of caution (i.e. restriction) … These are restricted topics (restricted chapter) and this is as they are not meant for everyone due to being a restricted knowledge …
To read or do the exercises in such topics the aspirants need to minimum-comply with the requirements as stated below …
If aspirants other than those who comply with the requirements of Ashtanga Yoga and the minimum requirements which are listed below end up doing these exercises, then the consequences can be very bad and even fatal …
So if you have not complied to what is written here and still end up trying your luck by doing the inner-exercises of this text, then the peril is all yours …
Hence don’t blame this little student for anything at a later stage because as far as I am concerned, you have already been warned …
And in addition to above, following is the minimum that needs to be complied …
- Children … Have been good children to their parents …
- Students … Have been good students to their teachers …
- Food … Have maintained a strictly Sattvic diet … Sattvic diet means that diet which is compliant to all of the following … Mother earth grows it inside her womb, wind moves it to refresh it, sun heats it to ensure its own penance (Tapas), moon cools it so as to strengthen it, water nourishes it, the vast skies are the roof of its home, it is free of violence of any sort (thus a vegetarian diet is a must), it is free of greed, eaten in less quantities (once a day preferably or even once a few days as I sometimes do) … That food is bland (free of pungent substances, excessive spices and chilly, etc.) and thus it does not activate taste buds unnecessarily … It has cow-ghee (butter-oil made from cow milk) as its natural ingredient … But in the larger sense of the word “food”, this world is also related to other aspects which shall be discussed later …
- Water … Those who drink at least 4 liters of water a day, including one liter just after waking up …
- Responsibility … Have properly effected their responsibilities towards others and to the best of their capacities whilst they rest within societies …
- Sleep … You need to be one who sleeps less … This is because excessive sleep leads to excessive generation of inner inertia (Tamoguna) … And because those exercises which are stated as restricted in this text only lead to a sudden and spontaneous generation of action within your physical and subtler vehicle, so this sudden manifestation of action within your natural state of inertia may even lead to a severe shock to physical and subtler vehicles of those aspirants who are based upon inertia of any sort … This condition can be very serious, permanently damaging and even fatal … So such ones must never do those exercises and are advised to skip all those topics which have warnings in them … I state very clearly that such ones would not survive that spurt of inner-action which is discussed here …
- Inward Path … Have been within the inward paths for at least 12 years …
- Alcohol and Smoking … Have not been taking alcohol at all … Non-smoker is more suited …
- Those who take hallucinating or other drugs are advised to stay well clear as it is not meant for them (These ones also won’t survive the effects) …
Continued with above point … However those who take such substances whilst they are fully based “within and upon” the path of Aghora face of the Vedic lore, have no restrictions whatsoever … I say so because I have also been an Aghori in one of the earlier incarnations and I know it cannot do any harm to an Aghori, because of the fact that Aghora face of Sadashiva is beyond all harm or non-harm … In fact there is no path better than Aghora face of Shiva to self realize the Absolute-truth …
- Mind … Have managed to control the wanderings of mind to a large extent (full control can only be termed as “very-rare” in today’s world) …
- Meditations … Those who do prolonged inward-meditations as their way of life …
- Eight fold Yoga … This is most important, especially a longer term of compliance to the Yama-Niyama of this eight-limbed path (Ashtanga Yoga) … This is mandatory prior entering into these exercises …
- Sitting posture … Sitting posture has to be upright i.e. the posture should be such that it leads to a natural straightness of the spinal column … And this is because the Kundalini-Shakti rises after successful completion, so she should be given a free path for which the requirement of a naturally straight spinal column stands paramount …
- Live a life … Free of violence of all types (including physical, sexual, stomach, mental, knowledge, emotional, desires) and stay free of non-attachment to fruits of deeds (which are of moral-ethical, material or monetary and immaterial types) …
- Free of greed, lust, deceit, stealing (including of taxes that you rightfully need to pay to your governments), lies, covertness, fraudulent ways of life … Rest in the middle of introvert and extrovert ways of life and walk the inward-path …
- And most importantly … This is only for those who can do anything to themselves so as to have a direct-cognition of truth i.e. those who have the ability to walk that extra-distance peacefully, in absolute-detachment and without-complaining about sufferings should they arrive … Thus it is only for those can still walk whilst being free of fear of death and life …
These minimum are to be complied with prior entering into those restricted topics …
As also, even after complying with these minimum requirements, I cannot give guarantee that everything would be okay with the aspirant because of factors which are also related to destined merits, accumulated merits, current and future merits, which as such are beyond the scope of the above listed aspects …
Thus basis above, I also know that only a handful would qualify to get into the topics which shall be marked as restricted within this text …
